Guardian Series

The Guardian Series comes from my personal connection to wildlife and a growing awareness of stewardship. I’m not entirely sure where this series is going or why it continues to surface, but each painting offers a glimpse into my history of being surrounded by animals. Returning to these subjects feels like a way of reconnecting with a sense of closeness and understanding I once had. By painting them, I acknowledge both their role as guardians of the natural world and my responsibility—as an artist and individual—to honor and protect their presence.
